Install the program. Do not run! Close if it is running.
Copy the patch to the folder with the program installed.

Using a firewall, block the program from entering the network.

stop the Stardock WindowBlinds service
change the start mode from AUTOMATIC to OFF
restart winlogon.exe or restart the computer
Run as administrator and click "Patch"
return automatic start of service
